In the states I have never saw anything called a digestive biscuit, what the fuck ever one is, I take it to be some kind of cookie,, but we do this with Graham crackers, run em in a blender and use butter.
But I would think that a blander crust would not impart so much of a different flavor to your basic cheesecake flavor.
Of coarse unless it was a choc with Oreo crust which does sound interesting.
Living here and cooking you do learn to use some different things to come up with good food.
