What food to eat later at night.

I try to get to the gym most days but I normally find that on Mondays and Wednesdays I am too busy to go.

The rest of the week I eat at about 4pm and go to the gym around 6pm.

About 9 or 10 at night I am hungry again.

What should I eat that isn't going to pile on the fat eating this late at night?

I normally munch down on a bag of fruit but I am getting a bit bored of it.

    ANy other sugggestions?

Dried textured soya protein, TOPS, 45 Baht.

It tastes like cardboard but is filling, healthy, high in protein and fiber, and fat free.

    I'd go with that.

But a large pizza would be good.

Your not going to use that much of it! but the fat in Virgin OO is monosaturated - the good stuff, we have to have some fat in our diet.

    doesent matter
it still comes down to calorific intake
    eat what you want
just bear in mind that if you have a couple of beers you are gonna want 1500 calories worth of donner and ruby and thats why you get fat

I read somewhere that hard-boiled eggs have negative calorific value - i.e. it requires more calories to digest them than they contain...Bear in mind that I may have read this on here and it may therefore be complete nonsense.....Mind you, Paul Newman still looks pretty trim.

I usually eat breakfast cereal last thing at night - check the box though - some of these maple-syrup-honey-nut-cluster types have more calories than an ice tea from a Bangkok street vendor, and that's saying something.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!

Do you eat a post workout meal (PWO)?

    1. immediately after you're finished (PWO1)

    2. 90 minutes later (PWO2)?

About 9 or 10 at night I am hungry again.
    ..

What should I eat that isn't going to pile on the fat eating this late at night?
Slow metabolizing protein is popular. Cottage Cheese (which contain caesin).

Olive Oil contain monosaturated fat. It's a "good fat."

You can lose weight under certain certain circumstances and also raise you good cholesterol, while at the same time lower your bad cholesterol levels.

As a poster noted, it comes down to the total calorie count for the day:

You have either a: caloric surplus, caloric maintanence, or a caloric deficit.

Olive Oil does have some caloric density to it. A table-spoon is about 100 calories.

If you want to be healther and possibly lose weight, try including it in your diet.

Caesin work wells for night. Caesin protein processes throught the body slowly, and while you're sleeping it will delay the catabolic effects during sleep.
