    The Juice Thread

Helloo. I bought a juicer yesterday (nice Moulinex one from Carrefour, 1,700B) and now I want a list of good recipes for mixed fruit shakes and the like.

Anyone know how to do a nice carrot juice with lemon or lime? What about a thicker banana-type-thing with yogurt and honey?

I'm currently standing by with my finger on the Pulse button. Waiting. Patiently.

    *tum-ti-tum*

    Juicer only, or also blender?

    1. Juice the carrots, then blend them up with soem fresh mint, and Orange juice, plenty of ice, and enjoy!

    2. Juice your carrots,Then blend em up with cashew lime, a couple of large spoons of sugar, orange and a dash of Nom.^Plenty of Ice...Blend.

    3. Just blender... ICE, two banana´s, Milk, sugar, a peach, and a few cubes of pineapple... BLEND... LOVE IT!

    I´m off for a beer.

The Gla-tongs (eng: wood apples) are ripe now, but too sour for my taste.
But one can still make a refreshing drink with them:

Peel 4-5 fruits, cut into little pieces and boil with cinnamon bark and star-anis in 1/2 liter of water for about 20 min, then pour into a pot with Chinese tea leaves to brew for 10 min.

Add sugar to taste, dilute with water to make 1 liter and chill. - home made 'ice tea'
