On the subject of canned tuna and comfort food, a couple of my favs are:

Cold tuna salad casserole. Tuna and mayo with celery, onions and cheddar with shell noodles.

Griddled tuna melts with tomato soup.

Btw JJ, I'll have some info on that broiler to you tomorrow

But I still think it was that mysterious can with the unpronouncable name....that made the difference.....

Herbs and spices are very subtle...and some don't travel well...

Pilchards or sardines in tomato sauce work just as well. The mysterious can is just small fish in tom sauce.
