Why are you pointing at the pasta? What was the pasta guilty of? The pasta is innocent. Nah, looks ok and what's more important is the taste . . . Yes, I lived in Italy as well and my best mate's father had an excellent Italian Restaurant in Kings Cross, Sydney, Natalino's . . . . always a dash of olive oil in the water

| No offence JJ, but if the fish smell of that stuff at 2am in the morning cooking after a few beers didn't make me barf, the acid in the tomatoes would. What happened to good old bacon sandwiches? Green for your efforts though, would make a good lunch dish. |

| Muang Boran | JJ...but I have to question you on a rule point...is this a snack (10 minutes or less to make) or a meal? In my opinion, if you boil water in something other then a kettle, then its more indicative of a meal, rather than a snack. Great pictoral thread though! |

Also, if I call it a snack I don't feel so bad about the plentiful repast I'd consumed earlier in the evening.

| Sorry, JJ, don't like fishy pasta sauces. Bet Jet loved it, though!!! Best & easiest drunken pasta meal - spaghetti with olive oil, garlic & chilli (preferably dried). Gotta be careful if really pissed not to slice your fingers with the garlic, though. |

| Saw this method of cooking pasta on a TV cooking show, and I've used it ever since: Bring water to a boil, add your pasta to the boiling water, stir it a bit, then turn the heat completly off. Cover and let it sit for 8 minutes if you want al dente, longer of course if you like your noodles softer. I usually stir around the 4 minute mark to prevent sticking. Never add salt or oil, no problem. No fuss, no muss. |

| I know nuthing | I am afraid that I am not as creative as JJ and if I did try to cook when I was pissed it could be disastrous. Restrict myself to turning on micro-wave ovens and opening tablet packaging! This is what I normally have and when I arrive home pissed and hungry. 1. FOUR N TWENTY PIE: Gotta be one of the best in the world. 2. " " Sausage roll: Fcukin lubly. 3. 7 Omega 3 tablets: Great for you and fart like hell in the morning 4. 2 Panadol for the head. 5. Litres and litres of water. Works for me and I don't hurt myself or burn the kitchen down in the process. Notice I left the price tag of the pie on for JJ to see. 107 Baht for a fcukin pie! I know mate "highway robbery" and don't tell me again I am only trying to show off. I know, I know, you could probably feed your whole village for that money and for a month. |
