| Tonight will be home made spag bol (or my version of it). Onions, garlic, peppers, beef mince, olive oil, mushrooms, tomatoes, tom puree & herbs & seasoning. I made a big batch a couple of hours ago. The rest will be frozen in individual portions. Last edited by November Rain : 23-09-2008 at 08:25 PM. Reason: typo |

| Is that it? OK fry pieces of bacon till crisp, boil the pasta. Warm a little of the mushroom soup & chuck in the bacon. Toss drained pasta in the sauce. |

Brilliant. Bacon, onions, garlic, a bit of chili, tinned tomatoes, bit of salt and sugar, basil. Cook pasta al dente, chuck in sauce, add grated cheese and a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Stir it all up............EAT yum yum.

Now where did you say you had garlic, chilli, tomatoes or basil? I'd never have suggested sodding mushroom soup sauce if you'd said any of those.

I know I am ...... no, he'll be good. Really looking forward to picking him up. We're making a bit of a party of it. 4 of us going down in my truck to morrow. One person gets into CR tomorrow am. Stay the night, buy lots of doggy stuff, and grab him off the plane at 14.45. He'll spend the following 3 hours being smothered in the back of the ute, 'till we get him home. Should be ok.

Glad he's getting fussed over. Nice to speak to Joy, BTW. Tell her I'm sorry I didn't realise what was going on at first. I'd been sleeping in the minivan on the way back & was a bit fuzzy.

| Senior Member | She's sick so me and the dog JET (lucky number 7) are having burgery bacony tomatoey cheesey toasty things. With a little bit of mustard. The burgers are from Macro and not that good. The 150 gram things just aren't that good IMHO. Best is to cut them in quarters and fry them off in the bacon fat from the bacon which is very good. Also from Macro, Chiang Rai Then a slice of cheese, a few slices of tomato and a bit of mustard. Toasted. Good |
