Post your scrambled omelettes here

Another mess of food, I made one a few weeks ago, it was the first I ever made and it came out real good, this one didn't though as I got over ambitious




The above is what I put into my omelete, it was way too much so the whole thing broke up into little pieces and became a scrambled egg, we got salt, pepper, tumeric powder, ham, tuna, onion, garlic, tomato and mushroom.

Below is my egg with milk, I watched both egg videos and can't remember which has milk and which has water but I doubt it would make much difference.



And the finished meal, it soaked up all the fat in the frying pan and I managed to eat half of it as I felt my veins and arterys clogging up

an easy way to do an omelette is to put it in a pan as normal(not too hot) let it cook for a few minutes then put the frying pan under the grill to do the top part

Scrambled eggs key note: do not overcook. Only a couple of minutes on med-low heat and stir often with a spatual.
Omelette:
Shred lots of cheddar cheese.
Chop up some chives, mushrooms, tomatoes and stirfry them quickly in a little butter.
I whisk three eggs until kinda foamy. Add a dash of milk/cream and water, S&P. Whisk again.
Get a nonstick fry pan or use just a smidge of olive oil (worst thing in the world is a greasy omelette) and slap on medium-lowish heat. Test the heat with a little drop of the egg -- it should start turning solid right away. Pour the eggs in and sprinkle with the veg. Use a spatula to keep cutting through the mix so the uncooked top part gets down to the bottom to cook. A minute or so. Turn the heat down, sprinkle the cheese on top and cover. Put the bread in the toaster. Check the omelette after a couple of mos. If it looks like it's all stuck together, then use the spatula to fold it in half. Turn the heat down to real low, sprinkle more cheese on top and cover another mo til it's melted.

Ommlettes are always the best brekkie thing when on holiday in thailand because they are so fresh. I love the way all the hotels have a little lady cooking them at the brekki buffet.

I'm personally crap at them and always scramble them but I think the trick is to have a decent pan and not to over cook them. Remember that they continue to cook after you have foulded it over and taken them off the heat.
