Thread: French onion dip

I would love to have take some potato chips and dunk them in some cold French onion dip. Has anyone ever seen such dip in Thailand? Preferably a place that would deliver...

I used to make it from creme cheese and the powered onion soup mix. But I cant find the soup mix anymore. Used to add some of that soup mix to ground beef to get a great burger as well.

Yeah, that onion soup mix was a real life-saver for pseudo cooks. Quick dip for a party, flavor up the meat loaf. I used to put it in a crock pot with a turkey leg and let is simmer all day for a quick and easy meal when I got home from work.

But, for the dip weren't you supposed to mix it with sour cream? Suppose it would be just as good with cream cheese.

Could well have been sour creme or cream cheese or a mixture. Damn versitile stuff it was.
