| Senior Member | S/S with metal lids have to be heavy to resist warping or bending to be truly waterless, these are, other than that they can be cast aluminum with glass lids and then you are always short of a lid or 2 because there was a slip and busted when it hit the floor, as with Guardian Service which was good cookware. My Thai stepdaughter dropped a lid to my set on the tile floor and it never hurt it at all. and that link I sent is a good one too.

| ^ Worries I guess. Guess I'm pickier about the food here and I still can't handle the taste and high sodium in stuff, unless I cook it meself. Olive Oil...where's me Popeye then? I got spinach. |

| Do a Google "Wolfgang Puck" sets of Stainless steel. . .I bought a GREAT set for about $100 USD. . .Included 10" stir-fry pan; several sauce pans and fry pans plus lids. . .19 pieces in all. . .cooks great; cleans easily. . .and, is MUCH healthier than teflon which has all sorts of carcinogenic problems and also scratches easily, etc. I have had my set for a couple years and only have one complaint(that I resolved after a short time). . .You MUST learn to adjust your heat under the pan. . .Once you get used to that, the cooking is fast, easy and "clean-tasting" with zero residual flavours or odors from past dishes(cast iron AND teflon retain those odors and flavours. . .no matter how muchl you try to clean them) I had a B&B for several years and ALWAYS received compliments on the food I served for its "fresh" flavour. . . |

| ^ Geez, coincidence. I got one of Puck's deep frying pans for $25 at a discount shop the other day. I checked his website and a similar one was about $250. You got the whole set for $100? Wow. Tell me where. |
