"be" reports: Spotted in Heathrow Airport where they were doing a lot of advertising around the product and giving out lots of free samples. I was starving and in real need of a sugar rush so it was lovely. Otherwise, you may find the full bar a little sickening. It's similar to a normal Kit Kat Chunky with a layer of smooth peanut butter on top of the wafer. It's a pity it tastes like the American Peanut Butter, rather than our SunPat Chunky version! "be" here confirms the
portents from earlier in the week, while
"Ian" located the (slightly more elusive - and expensive?) companion to
Lemon and Lime Jaffa Cakes -
McVitie's Jaffa Cakes Blackcurrant going for 70p per packet of 12 ("5.83p per cake") in Sainsbury's, Welwyn Garden City, declaring them:
Nicer than the Lemon and Lime ones - I should know, 'cos I bought both at once, though I think he's referring to the Lemon and Lime variety when he adds:
Bizarrely the "jelly" bit (the "jaffa orangey bit" in traditional Jaffa Cakes) is still a dark colour, don't know, but I was expecting the colour of the packet for these...
