    Satay Chicken Recipes?

    Does anybody have any good but fairly easy Satay Chicken recipes?

    I luv the stuff & always order it from my local Chinese & would luv 2 try & make it at home sometime.

    Ingredients :

    1/4 cup - Chicken broth
    1/3cup - Water
    2tbl - Soy sauce
    1x - Minced clove garlic
    1tbl - Sherry or vermouth
    1/4cup - Minced onion
    2tsp - Sugar
    1 1/2tbl - Soy sauce
    2tsp - Grated ginger
    1tbl - Brown sugar
    1x - Minced clove garlic
    1tbl - Catsup
    1lb - Boneless chicken
    1dsh - Red pepperToothpicks or skewers
    1/2tbl - Lime juice
    1/4cup - Crunchy peanut butter

    Method :
    • Cut chicken in 1/2-inch strips. Combine next six ingredients. Marinate chicken in refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Weave chicken on skewers.
    • Microwave on high 6 minutes. Make peanutsauce by cooking garlic and onion in water. (Microwave 1 minute.) Add remaining ingredients and cook until heated through. (Microwave 1 minute.) Pour some of the sauce over chicken and serve with remaining sauce.
    • Makes 4 main dish servings or 6 appetizers.

    Catsup is ketchup in Welsh Noony. Sauce makatet.

    my local tesco's won't have satay sauce I'd have to find my local asian supermarket & haven't found one yet in Dublin although I know they're around somewhere because there are a lot of Asians in the country & they usually set up businesses like this very quickly.
