Have you ever made jam here and what sort was it?
Do you need to use pectin when making jam? What is pectin.
Would jackfruit make good jam?

You must be very careful not to burn yourself when making jam. I can't imagine jackfuit jam - I think the fruit has to release its juice. You could probably use durian but I doubt you'd want to spread it on your toast. What about tamarind - that might be nice. The best jam I tasted was gooseberry - never seen them in LOS - seen plums, but very expensive.
Why not make Papaya jam, Mango jam or something else? There are so many fruits to buy in the market.
I was thinking about this over my toast this morning. Surely Pineapple would be the natural choice?
What about Marmalade? Oranges must be pretty cheap.
You need marmalade oranges though - normal oranges are crap.
I think maybe pineapple and mango jam might be nice
if I could be fucked to stone them Salak jam. would be bitter and sweet at the same time.
I however won't make any fanny jam as that smells a lot.
