Then into the convection oven for maybe 30 minutes. I'm not in the Otto club, having the more advanced Klass. But I think you Otto guys can probably manage this.

My Klass seems to be competing for space amongst the rice cookers, but I can't complain too much because the reason we have two is that we cook up a batch of cheap rice every day for the myriad of dogs I feed. I'd better wind it in or else that will become another of my jobs.

Keep the temperature low for quiche so it cooks through without burning on the top. I found about 180 degrees was OK. Use the lowest rack thingy as well.

    And after about 30 minutes...

Looks good enough to eat! I may even risk a pic later on the dinner thread!

Looks good, Mendip. I reckon you're the forum's top convection cooker chef.

    Obviously Luigi is close behind.

My Dad was old fashioned, sheep shearer and then ex-army ... bit of a bloke.

    Only poofs eat quiches.

We lost our Mum early, so I learnt to cook.

Used to make a quiche, told Dad it was a bacon and egg pie ... he woofed it down

It's common knowledge that quiche and Otto ovens are a gateway to cock

15 min throw together. Ribs parboiled, canned SW barbeque beans, tomato and couple spring onions to freshen me breath.

Did you jam something in the 45 minute timer and take a nap?

Gotta splice that electrical cord now, as it immediately explodes and trips the kitchen fuse box.

Probably a bit safer to just pay 800thb for a new one. And pick up a new extension lead, as the current one's switch is melted into the on position.

Went for a Rosti in the OTTO this evening.

The lack of umlats was noticeable.

    Well, to me anyway.

    Thai potatoes suck.

I carried it off though, with the charm to which this forum has become accustomed.

    ^^^They've been deepfried.

Judging by Nevs efforts where everything comes out looking anaemic

Anyway, my Klass is on the market, bollocks that it is. You guys saw the steak and kidney pie it produced, great potential.

    Will deliver within reason.
