First side done.
And turned.
Jeez. Look how white the bottom is...No wonder Nev stopped using his. Bet he was on the shitter all week.
^ That's 25 mins into 70 mins of cooking, ya plumber.
45 minutes later:
Out and on the plate.
Wrapped in foil for 10 mins
While tending to the veg.
Take out of the soup/soon to be stock.
And set to full Lulu for 10 mins.
Looks unevenly cooked that...part of one leg is burnt and I'd definitely give that anaemic parsons nose a swerve.
In fact it all reminds me of that old TV drama, The Singing Detective
Looks delicious Luigi, good enough for the kids to call KFC...
^ Eh? Half of its skin is missing..It looks like someones dog got hold of it
Mine's done and eaten.
The raw.
The cooked.
^ I cook everything in the oven on a wire rack with a catch-tray a few inches beneath and never need to turn things for even cooking. Not sure why that's not the case with a convection oven, more so as they're blasting hot air around too aren't they?
Test complete.
Time for a lie down on the sofa with a glass of white.
I've got a couple of lamb chops in my Otto. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

FFS that chicken was more than edible. I wasn't expecting a full Sunday roast in one of those ovens, but that was pretty close. I will certainly consider my oven for cooking an extra chicken if needed. That's a long way from being left in the cupboard for 5 years gathering dust.
Thanks nev for bringing up the topic and Luigi for taking the plunge.
...and next time you want to be hyper critical maanaam remember to back up your shite with pics.
