I'll after nip to the shop past the pub...
^Just wing it :)
This is serious business!
No winging it allowed, I'm under orders.
I blame that program "Friday night dinner" for this.
Anyhow, got the scales working by massaging the batteries.
^Got to be honest, I've never owned a set of kitchen scales so things like you're having a crack at here are way beyond my humble kitchen skills. Look forward to reading your next posts in this thread tomorrow morning thru bloodshot eyes with a coffee in hand, there'll be a red or green sent then :)

Heated slowly in two tablespoons of water for 5 mins with a tablespoon of sugar to soften and sweeten.
Careful not to burn..
Keep the apple pips for an orchid in 10 years time down the end of the garden.
Ever thought of applying for "Come dine with me" ?

180oC for the oven if you were wondering.
Chop the fresh coriander, stir the chicken Madras sauce, have another cheeky sip of rough brandy.
Take the crumble out of the oven and leave to rest, put the custard in the pan , where's my poppadoms gone.
Top up,yes please.
