    Chitty's Fusion Curry

Curry night tonight with a difference. ...

Bit bored of the conventional standard curries, Madras/Korma/Vindaloo/ Rogan Josh etc.

So i'm experimenting tonight with a fusion of curry spices, hopefully I won't burn the kitchen down

Cooking from scratch, I present to Teakdoor the ingredients list..

    1 onion.
    3 cloves of garlic.
    500g chicken breast.
    1 green chilli.
    1 teaspoon of pepper.
    2 tablespoons of Madras powder.
    2 tablespoons of Tandoori Masala.
1 tablespoon of Portuguese PirI Piri powder.
    1 tablespoon of ground Turmeric.
    1 teaspoon of cumin.
    1 tablespoon of chilli powder.
2 tablespoons of Virgin cocout oil.
    1/2 pint of water.

    1 kg of Basmati rice
    The leaning tower of poppadoms
    1 keg of beer

Leave to simmer for a hour while the spices fuse and I prepare the poppadoms, rice and crack open the beer

It appears you don't know what 'fusion' means.

    You're just making a curry.

The onions and garlic were fried with pepper and coconut oil for a few minutes at the start.
The whole pot is simmering? Eta 30 minutes!

Update : Just slung a potato, aka soon to be a Bombay potato into the pot.

    Taste test soon...

Chit, not possible, if he was ever wrong there's no way Teachy could have remained at the pinnacle of the education system for all these years. Now rename your curry, as a birthday present for him.
