What to do with a gammon joint?

Decisions, decisions. ... I'm contemplating a cheesy creamy pasta dish with gammon steaks.

Then again I'm open to suggestions, be quick though! My stomach thinks my throat has been cut

Decided to chop half and mix it into the creamy cheese and broccoli pasta sauce.
Shall be served alongside a steak gently fried in chilli olive oil....

Time for an appetising glass of vino...

The first problem is finding papers big enough.

I've got a couple, but apparently I can't make suggestions on cooking topics or else AO will get upset.

Actually, I think you did just about what I would have done, and it looks delicious! I was thinking more carbonara-ish but cheesy cheesy cheesy is fabulous. I also probably would have saved the steaks for another meal, me being frugal and all.

Cheers. Everyone was stuffed tonight, there was a fair bit left over as it goes.
    The dog didn't mind though
