Lulu's Super Quick n Sleazy 15 minute Spaghetti.

Quick n tasty, if in a rush.... or just feeling supremely lazy.

Pull out some bacon, cherry 'maters, champignon, garlic, dried red chili, mix of dried oregano, thyme and ground black pepper, fresh basil.

Slice n dice while yer water boils.

Chuck in yer pan and fry on medium just as you chuck yer spaghetti in.

Then whack that baby on full-blast with less than a minute to go.

Wham, bam, thank you maam, 15 minutes from fridge to table.

Always mix your noodles in the pan you fried your stuff in, give a toss and a minute or three and then plate. The noodles absorb the pan juices that way...

Just sayin' like, it looks great. Corn in a salad though....I'm not to sure about that...

Brilliant. Carbonara pomodora? Far be it for me to give you advice but I've found that if you take the spaghetti out a minute before it's ready and throw it in the pan with the rest (and a little spaghetti water) and finish it like that the spaghetti itself absorbs the flavours. it really takes it to the next level.

    Yup.

Unfortunately I learned the hard way that when there's chili involved, it isn't always the best method.

I'd have never suspected your ring piece couldn't handle the heat.

    Agree on both counts.

A dash of the water cooked in is counterintuitively good too.

Though why on earth you lot refer to pasta as noodles I have no idea.

    A minor quibble.

Does your 4/5 year old daughter eat that, or do you make her a different meal?

    Brilliant Lulu!
Your display of "sauce-less" pasta entrees seems to shine.

My preference as well....less heavy shit.

    Cheers!!

Delia Smith has named a recipe after you:

    Pasta Puttanesca (Tart's Spaghetti)

A once upon a time family favourite.
