I've been smashing the 3 or 4 dayers recently and have gone from 88-91 kgs in the space of a month.
I've just put in a decent shift in the gym though, and reckon I'll have another bash tomorrow morning, so I reckon I'll be starting the weekend at about 3pm on Thursday.

Is there a difference between Protein Powder and Whey Powder?
The maximum recommended daily intake of protein is about one gram per kilo.
A scoopful of whey protein is about 25 grams and it does keep you feeling full for long, like beef.
Its all the same protein I think- whey is from milk curd that used to be tossed away before someone discovered the value
You can also get soya based.

My dad worked in a dairy when I was young and he was kind of a health nut. He used to bring home liquid whey left over from the process of the dairy making cottage cheese. Acid whey I think that's called. Anyway he would drink it straight up. I tried it once. Nasty stuff that...
I guess they flavor that powder you're using. Probably tastes a lot better.

I saw a girl in the park yesterday wearing a '5km race finisher' t-shirt. She was walking slowly and I overtook her feeling pretty good about myself. I bet she walked in the race too. Then this lanky streak of piss of a Thai came sprinting past.
Anyway, these are apparently the normal times for a 5km race...
But take a look at this age grade calculator Cujo, so if you do run in one of those races, it gives the youngsters a handicap and you a morale booster.

Anyway, just got back from burning a few calories on the bike.
After a couple of coldies and a pizza last night I got up and weighed in at 80 kg.
Had 2 Weetabix with sliced peach, honey and full cream milk and a cup of coffee, a dump, went for a ride, got in and weighed myself at 78.7
