Trust me, when I lost that much weight I wasn't at 220 pounds, and I'm still not at that weight. My highest weight was 238 pounds and that was 5 years ago. I lost 80 pounds from that in a few years. I cut out most bad carbs, sugar and basically did an impossible diet which is cutting out all carbs..even most fruit. A lot of the diets out there aren't realistic.
It is about moderation, eating healthy and exercising there is no diet like the high protein or no carb diet that is sustainable in the long term. Your body needs carbs and it needs protein and fruits/veggies.
