Then I came up with the bright idea to exercise at my prime drinking time 5pm to 630, so I am walk/jogging and doing some weights at that time.

Then come home to only 2 dark beer Lao's and a good dinner with salad every night.

I managed to eat about 4,000 calories a day in the states and not gain weight, here I am having to snack just to maintain the weight I am now as I am burning about 2400 calories a day with the regime.

Been 6 weeks now and it really seems natural. Did not really ever think I could do this.

Can appreciate the fitness consciousness and routine, AO - yet, to be fair, you've never had an overweight problem, have you?

Always remained [more or less] the same, yes?

Never really more than a few pounds overweight. But I had gotten lazy and began drinking too much beer. I realized how lazy I had become while home in the states. Living here I never washed clothes or did dishes. Rarely washed a car or did gardening. There was always somebody to do that here. It really hit home and I decided to put the energy into exercise. I sure as hell am not getting any younger....

I also realized as I aged I was no longer always the happy drunk, but sometimes angry and bad tempered....

Meat chunks appear to be dry.

Apart from that, your Dilly Fusion Cuisine has possibilities.

Good on you chaps, keep up the good work and we'll do a marathon when I get back. There's a fuck load to choose from in Thailand, all of which start at around 3am, ergo we should be bar-side by 8 at the latest.

Top tip, eat this. Sweet spuds, rocket, spinach, watercress, tomatoes, avocado, olives and chickpeas.

I'm a bit rubbish at sticking to a good diet plan because I tend to sleepwalk my way to the fridge every night and rid it of the nice shit that I'd studiously avoided during the day.

    Exercise though...
got this good little gig going with the girls at the mo; they ride, I run... win win

Bananas are the key if you crave something sweet!
Good source of energy and stop you cramping up during your 10 metre daily jog to the fridge and back

Shoulders and boxing down the gym today followed by a half marathon walk later.
Shall mostly be eating o%fat yoghurt drinks , bananas and salmon sandwiches.
    Gonna weigh myself post workout.

Bananas are fattening - taken abundantly.
Try another fruit with less starchy/carb laddened enzymes.

Problem with these 0% fat yogurts are that they are high in sugar. As someone else posted, Greek style yogurt dribbled with natural honey and some chopped soft fresh fruit is much better.

If you exercise more. Eat fruit and a nice slice of toast for breakfast. Then that chicken breast in a sandwich with a nice salad. Dinner can be 110 grams of a pork loin some mushrooms garlic and onions. Nice baked spud with more than spinach.

Yeah it's good stuff that. Pretty much a breakfast staple of mine with some fruit or other.

I don't add the honey though - although it sounds nice now you've mentioned it.

I guess it can be quite tart and acidic but I've grown to quite like the taste of it on its own.

^^I was going to say...'dribbling natural honey' over anything isn't a great way to lose weight.

Ultimately it's about balancing the bodies needs in terms of carbs, proteins etc, and reducing volumes against calorie expenditure. As CCC said, bananas are great as a precursor to activities such as cycling, but not as a staple diet. Just about the body learning to burn fat as a source of energy rather than digested carbs/sugar.

I have identified that as my main problem.

Found a place to give the missus a spanking at tennis and badminton tomorrow. Gotta be more fun than pacing around the same park, which I will do in the morning.

    Is yoga gay?
