Beautiful thing about nuts is your body gets rid of the fat content whilst absorbing all the protein.
It's a several gob fulls over the course of the day or whilst driving the car bored.

    Love almonds.

    And hazelnuts.

If I was eating that many almonds in Thailand I'd need Dilly's wallet.

I bought a 150g bag of almonds 3 weeks ago. I still haven't finished them. I've got about quarter of the bag left.

    I'll be over tomorrow.

Usually do cashews, in the cornflakes jar. Something like a 300g box of cornflakes, 100g of cashews and 100g of raisins.

Have to try and source some hazelnuts, that's one thing that I would miss from home.

I miss them too, and as chance would have it, I bought a 160g bag of mixed nuts in Tops today. I haven't opened it yet but it says it contains: Cashews, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Hazelnuts and Pecans.

Brazil nuts and hazelnuts? Almost too good to be true. I bet there aren't many of either.

    Double roasted cashews.

I can buy 2 x 700gram bags of almonds or pistachio nuts here for a tenner, about 400 baht.
Aldi are selling honey roasted cashew nuts at the moment, they are rather mooring.

    Jeez I love my nuts!!!

Walnuts are good for the heart and Brazil nuts taste so damn good.
Can be expensive depending on your source.
A lot of work goes into those Brazil nuts...

A nice surprise. There are actually quite a lot of brazil nuts and hazelnuts in the bag. A lot of almonds too. Not many pecans.

    ^^ They look quite stale.

I'm vegetarian and eat a heap of nuts. Currently addicted to very fresh walnuts, which I eat with organically grown sultanas.

They aren't fresh nuts, they are roasted, but they probably also looks stale to you because the brown seed-coat layer has been removed from some of the nuts - from the hazelnuts and brazil nuts. Also the photo isn't very sharp.

7-11 Thailand do packets of Almonds (salt-free), as per attached "Nut Natur" brand. Roasted, but otherwise not processed.
