The pics are bad due to shaky hands and a thumping headache today for some reason, but the taste was good.

Happened to pick up another pack at lunchtime, the kid loves them (along with the ongoing joke of 'I didn't know fish had fingers'. -_- )

something like 135b on promo in Tops for a box of 15.

Not quite on par with the hi-so Birdseye variety, but hey... chavs gonna chav.

Thanks for sussing out the pick loading. Things have changed regarding uploading images since I last posted it seems. Frustrated with the pic not showing up I gave up and omitted the comments.

Pulled bbq pork on a homemade roll with cole slaw, dill pickles and pickled red onion that I also made from scratch.

^^ Posting nothing but kitchen threads would greatly increase your reputation on the forum.

Nice structure. I buy the dough at Makro frozen. Thaw at room temp. Proof 40C for 90 min. Egg wash. Preheat oven to 180C, mist and cook till brown. 15 min. Cool before cutting.

Not difficult but takes a couple of hours so not like a pop tart. Baking is a challenge for me here not because I don't know how but because my wife is OCD clean freak and goes nuts when I start throwing flour around.

OCD clean freak. To give you an idea enclosed is a photo of her vacuum cleaner. Hitachi power boost cyclone. It sounds like a 747 when she cranks it up. Manwiches-vac-jpg

I'd go for the pastrami. Every time, for value. Love to try the wagyu. The chicken, with bones and dry bread, meh as a sammy.

Gonna do some pulled pork manwiches with slaw on Kaiser Rolls later today.

Bought a half loin boneless pork roast the other day...

    Rubbed and wrapped it...

Put it in the fridge overnight. Unwrapped it this morning and put it under the broiler a few minutes each side. Chucked it in the slow cooker on low till this afternoon...

Will post pics of the pulled pork Manwiches later. May save half, or some of it anyway, for sliced loin sammiches another day.

Some minced fresh garlic, dried chili pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, kosher salt, paprika and a touch of cinnamon. Also put a splash or two of apple cider vinegar, worchestershire sauce, soy sauce and a little water in the bottom of the slow cooker before starting.

    About halfway done...

How come you used loin instead of shoulder? When I make pulled pork I always use shoulder for the extra fat so that it doesn't dry out and for the extra flavour.

    Looks good though.
