Prawn Cocktail Roll time again, a Sunday favourite.
Step 1: Boil prawns then get them into ice cold water.
Step 2: Let them chill in the fridge along with the home-made secret seafood sauce (Mayo, Ketchup, Lemon juice, Tabasco, S&P).
Step 3: Some assembly required.
Step 4: Kick yourself for not making 2 of them in the first place, as the first one got hoovered up in under 30 seconds
...suggestion: add a teaspoon of horseradish to brighten the special sauce...
^"special orders don't upset us"
Or Mayonaise
Because fuck-it, at the markets this morning and they looked way too good not to buy...
Absolutely love me some prawns but not sure the prawn sanger is something I'd enjoy.
Ham and cheese with tomatoes on a sourdough bread crust. I make my own sourdough thick pizza crust and cook it in the oven. Easy to make and maintain a sourdough starter. The ham is purchased at Foodland and Tops and Makro. Cheese is from Cheesequintessence

You can buy Australian rye flour at Tops or Foodland and a lot of other places. Or any wheat flour. Or white bread flour if the others are not available. After you have a starter you can use it with any bread recipe as a replacement for store bought yeast or use it with a little commercial yeast if you are in a hurry. To make a pizza you need a stone and a pizza oven (heats to 300 -350c) I use a Toshiba TOSHIBA / Toshiba-superheated steam oven stone kiln dome ER-LD430 .
As far as I know the oven is not available in the US I don't know about UK. Toshiba oven division got sold to a Chinese company I believe. The stone I bought from Lazada and it fits perfectly in the oven.

Lettuce, leg ham, tomatoe, onion, cheese, egg, mayo, s&p. A good samidge for brunch.
^ A decent combo.
Have you tried Neung's (from Neung's Pies fame) 'English cheddar cheese'. 250b for 1Kg. I have one ordered, among other items.

^No I haven't tried it. Don't eat much cheese at home TBH, just a slice here and there on samidges. Do let us know if it's any good or not though, there's a few places that've started to stock and advertise Cheddars like this lately and I've wondered if it's any good or not.
Just picked up these badboys in Tops.
Feel a chavtastic fish finger, iceberg, tartar roll coming on.
Just gotta let me daily BLT go down first.
^Jeff will cluck his tongue (as if anyone gives a flying fuck) but photos of this are required!.
Next time I'm in Big C Extra - which might be tomorrow depending on alcohol consumption tonight - I'll get the pre-cooked fish fillet and other ingredients to put together a similar roll.
Where is your "English Chedder Cheese" coming from? You may also want to ask if the milk producers use hormone treatment on the cows who produce the milk for the cheese. It seems common in ameristan.
It appears ameristanis are throwing milk away as their cheese markets are cratering. A Chinese company in Berlin, Ohio has been hit by no orders from China, Mexico and Canada.
Allegedly selling now at around $34 per 100 kg, 34 cents per kg or 10 baht/kg.

A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
Help for cheese. I don't eat much cheddar preferring the French cheeses that are available here but when I do eat cheddar it is from NZ and added to a roux of 3 tbs milk, 3 tbs water and 2 tbs flour. Whisk the roux over low heat until thick and add cheese and a couple of drops of Worcestershire sauce and a dab of ketchup.
