Sorry, just my opinion. I don't really miss farang food. If I want something in particular then Makro or Tesco (tea) seems to carry anything I yearn for. Which isn't often.

When Howard, who owned it, was alive, I always thought most stuff was pretty good. After he died though, which was a good five or so years ago now, it seemed to go downhill.

Howard was a good skin. Dropped off an order and have a beverage with a chat. Never an issue with quality.

Ray has his own way which I respect.

Get yourself down Pattaya. Much wider selection of food from back home than Bangkok.

If you want sausages and bacon, go the Pig and Whistle, they make their own bacon and sausages and theyre very good.

If you must go to Bangkok, Sloanes is better than Bunters.

Found this the other day, aint had it since a kid

Buy the tea in the red box at Tesco's. You won't be disappointed.

Sloanes and Passion are rip merchants.

    A full pig costs 60 a kg.

Always make multiple trips to the Pig and Whistle when I am in Jomtien, I also rate Simple Simons- slightly more lively than Pig and Whistle and a good place to kill time if you have to go to immigration. Y'all lucky as anything in Thailand, most imported stuff here is tinned and the supply chain is unreliable. We just got tuna back after a one month absence. Never had an issue with the meats from Tesco or Big C; in contrast to Mandalay, where everyone I know has been made sick at least a few times from the local supermarket.

From Best Supermarket? I have some sat in my fridge right now. The Mackays Marmalade is pretty good as well.

I never noticed that, they were off a loaf of sourdough, I ate them from the small side in the garden too. What must the neighbours think?
