    Electrolux EOT38MBA bench oven

I was looking at these in home pro and was wondering if anyone had one

I am interested in opinions and also how much heat they radiate at the sides and back

I like the idea of roasted chicken etc - and it has a rotating rotisserie

    ELECTROLUX Microwave Oven EOT38MBA 38 L. Grey-Black. Product ID ... Model : EOT38MBA.
    Capacity : 38 L. Dimensions : 55 × 32.8 × 42 cm. Weight : 7.8

If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

Dimensions are roughly the same as my combi microwave-oven-grill, which I think is too small to cook a roast dinner in. You can squeeze in a chicken but nothing to go with it.

Top gets warm enough to remove everything from it before use.

I have a Serverin that size, it has worked like a charm for over 10 years now. Simple and easy to use. Can do chickens, roasts, just about anything. But a whole rack of ribs wont fit...

Oh Ye with a cunning plan.

We have something similar although not Electrolux, smaller but Moulinex. I would not leave a soft plastic dish on the top when cooking, otherwise OK.

Saw an Italian one once which had a pizza stone as std. Wish i had bought one now!

I would personally never buy an Electrolux product again.

The service or non service on a 80,000 baht oven was and still is absolute shit.

I agree with toslti, if your budget can stretch that far. Save a lot of workspace also if that is limited.

    Cheers, TP

    Electrolux ?????????? ???? 38 ???? ???? EOT38MBA | Lazada.co.th

I have had this exact Model for about 2 years and have no problems with it at all.

It will easily take a full-sized chicken (although I have never used the rotisserie function) and there is minimal heat radiated from top, back or sides.

Another plus for me is that the controls are very simple - unlike some others where it seems you need a degree in computer science to set the thing up just to grill sausages!

I know someone who had one and they utterly raved about how great it was.

And then used it once and never again.

I've got a Zanussi. Bought it at Power Buy.
I use it a lot. Bread, pies, cakes, ribs, pizza.
They have heat coils on the top on bottom. You can adjust the heat sources and fan.
Buy the biggest one you have space for.

I've had good luck with the two supersized toaster ovens I've had...

Like AO, I've got a Severins and it's done really, really well.

My QA test is the door. Is it just a piece of glass or is it a double paned door? The cheap one's it's just a single piece of glass comprising the door.

Our Electrolux combi has a turntable....never used the griller browner part though..

Still need to buy another toaster oven ...last one was excellent for everything, bread, roasts etc..even had a rotisserie. Bloody think started giving me belts...frayed cord as it entered back...all riveted ..too lazy to drill out etc so binned it.
