    GoSun Solar Grill

Reckon this is brilliant. No good for where I am now as apparently they don't have a sun; only gun metal coloured clouds and when they start to break, the spraying starts again.

Anyway, great idea. Even a Thai wife couldn't blow the house up with one of these. I also wonder if the technology could have a copper coil inserted into to to heat water when not being used as a cooker?

Outstanding idea and excellent use of technology. Although I like it, a neanderthal misogynist like me would prefer an old style BBQ to play with.

Not a bad idea....especially if you incorporated the copper coil to heat water. You could even have a tiny turbine being worked by it that creates power to charge a phone or run a radio

While you are at it - rebuild this

brilliant idea, but apparently all of the component tools are shite. Rebuild it to have dewalt kit in it and I'll buy one off ya.

More of an oven than a grill.

A great idea. Costs about 200 quid - 10,000 baht.

    ^^^^^^^In CM? Yup.

On the road in NZ we'd wrap our lunches up in tin-foil and wire the bundle onto the truck manifold. Heating up stuff like lasagne or toasted sarnies was quick, and cooking a few snarlers with onions and spuds was no problem, time and a properly wrapped tin-foil sheet was all that mattered.

Cold meat pies and fish and chips (not wrapped in paper) would be done in 15 minutes.

If one could be made to cook rice it would save a lot of charcoal up north.
