    MeMock's turkish toasted surprise.

It's not often I cook but last night offered to make my wife a late night snack in between the 8 feeds a day she is giving to young Ariya.

    First up, the ingrediants.

Simple hey? Turkish bread, cheese, bbq sauce and your choice of meat. I have decided on roast beef.

Take the bread from the freezer and bung it in one of these for a few minutes untill defrosted.

Cut the bread in half and put in one of these.

Leave it in the grill until slightly brown. While you are waiting for the bread turn your big lump of cheese into smaller lumps.

Now isn't that a great chopping board? Its a solid piece of wood from an old gum tree on our farm in South Australia.

Once the bread is nicely cooked pour a generous amount of BBQ sauce on both pieces.

If no one is looking moosh it all around with your 'special' utensil (and no DD - not THAT utensil)

    put your meat on top.

Roast beef is best but I didn't have enough so I chose some other type of meat which I have no idea what it is.

Put your cheese on top and place it back in the gorilla.

Don't walk away, don't even go to the toilet as it will only be a minute until they look like this.

I was going to take one more pic of what it looks like afterwards ala cap style but a pic of an empty plate is pretty boring.

    DELISH!

Only if they are the right consistency Marmers. Too runny and they will spoil the food - they need to be fairly firm.
