    The problem is its a 3.7 kg bird. If I fill it no one eats (the stuffing) it like every year. So I just stuff it with some oranges to not let it dry out.

    Oohps, the family is still stuffed from yesterdays dinner. Plus the chef cook is not feeling so well today.



    Today a spiced up the bird a bit and tomorrow it will fly into the oven.

    O.K. change of plan.
    The goose is to big for us so I decided to break it up. Legs will be done tonight. The breast will be smoked in about 4-5 days. And a soup with some rest meat is in the making.

    Not really . Mother goose from 2011 was put right into the oven without torture. She took it like a man !
