That is fine dining British style.
In Britain today I dined on Smoked Salmon crescent slices, plain poppadoms with Morrisons Mango chutney and Wasabi peas.
    GB
For afters(common terminology) the audeves are Ouma Buttermilk Rusks baked on the original farm, with Belgian Chocolate choux buns with British cream.

But you are a Brit, and back in Britland too by now?

    Why no Chang?

PS I had a full English today Nige, with poached egg and fresh orange juice. Grilled bacon and sausage so less fat and the OJ negates all the bad cholesterol.

Nice one Chas ,, I would have gone with 2 slices of wholemeal toast , baked beans + 2 poached eggs the following day I would have the same substuting the beans for tomatoes .

This is my breakfast menu everyday in the Thai village home , sees me through to the evening for my baked tillapia salad , no rice
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Well, it's certainly worked for you and has made you the fine figure of a man that you are today. Have you considered writing a diet book like Doctor Atkins ? You are sitting on a fortune.

"Cuisine" isn't quite the right term here.

Sod that for a game of darts. Tomato sauce/ketchup on fish and chips?

Salt and vinegar is all it needs. Dab of tartar sauce and a wedge of lemon if you are going posh.

A small side of mushy peas is allowed.

    Let's try that...

"I went full British absolutely disgusting today."

It actually rings a touch spasticated.

    Looks nice.

But if you want the full grease experience...

    ...gotta go Scottish.

    ^ That's because it's fried bread.

And they need a sunny side up egg to dip into

Strammer max was a favourite of mine when I had no English choices.
