Baking Powder and Caster Sugar, where to buy?

I'm having trouble finding them. I've tried Villa at Promonade, Maxvalue and tesco in Min Buri, also tried Tops at Seacon Bangkea near where I live.

Managed to find self raising flour but does anyone know where I can find baking and caster?

    Many Thanks.

It's for making pancakes btw. Self, Baking, and caster sugar with eggs has been my preferred. Any other suggestion welcomed.

Not near me. They have all purpose, but not sure of the difference. Is there one?

    all purpose what?

If you have self raising flour already you probably don't need baking powder as it's already incorporated in the flour.

You can buy baking powder anywhere, is that what you were looking for? All purpose flour, cake flour, self-rising flour and bread flour are availabel at Foodland look harder. Baking powder usually comes in a small plastic cylinder. Foodland for sure. Caster sugar would be tough to find here. Substitute granular sugar.

Make your own caster sugar by running granulated sugar through the blender. Test it to be sure you have it powdered well and didn't leave granules hidden before use in recipes.

That's baking soda. Not the same as baking powder.

But yes, anywhere. As Humbert said look harder.
In Tesco is a little white plastic jar, Thai on one side, English on the other.

Yep. Get baking powder at Tesco here. No castor sugar to be found. Misskit has got it for castor sugar. Granulated into a blender or coffee grinder until you get consistency you want.

Yeah, I'm surprised JJ can't find it.
It's not as if caster/confection sugar is a true odd Farang item.

One can locate a couple of brands at Lotus [Tesco] and Big C.

I don't think caster sugar and confection/powdered sugar are the same. Confection sugar is easy to find.
