24Hrs. What to do with my beef.

Getting a chunk of beef tonight. 500gr-1kg.

    For dinner tmro night.

Was thinking either a slow cooked Indian style curry, starting at 9am tomorrow morning, to be served at 6pm.

Or sliced and marinated tonight (for 20hrs) , and put onto skewers with onion and capsicum and put on the BBQ.

    Other ideas welcome.

    Don’t be bashful

Go get yourself a freezer. Purchase a side of beef and have it cut and packaged (stating what’s in each package). Save the soup bones for the pups.

    Beef it’s what’s for dinner.

    By the way,………. Thank you.

prices paid to beef and cattle producers increased 17.3 percent
    Enjoy!

Make a hole in the beef and have sex with it.

Order in a pizza for tea.

Rendang sounds great, but perhaps too much effort for tonight.

Sliced, and into a marinading bag (dashes of lime juice, crushed garlic, bbq sauce, mustard, ground black pepper corns and some coriander) for 20 hours, before being skewered and BBQ'd with onions and capsicum is winning I think.

Here's a little tip for you. Chuck some shredded papaya into the bag (keep it together by tying it in the bundle and giving it a squeeze to get the juice coming out. It will make your beef really tender and not change the flavour.

I know papain powder is a tenderizer and comes from papaya, but using your method would it be about as ripe as papaya used in somtam?

Perhaps a few chunks of juicy pineapple. Then crushed while in the marinading bag. Got some in the fridge. Might check it out.

Yes. It works. I often cut very thing strips of unripe papaya and put a steak between them for 24 hours in the fridge. Works a treat on local shite beef.

Umm no. It does not have the same enzyme in it that breaks down the meat. Would taste better though.

That works well , a flip girlfreind showed me that one, she used to just slice the green papaya in strips lay some previously tough steak on it and some more stips on top , chuck it in the fridge for the day, Kiwi fruit will do the same , though obviously papayas cheaper,

Fark - the thread for that would be aweful.

"I went to Gullivers with a lump of meat I have been fucking after cutting a hole in it, and was refused entry, but the doorman was in two minds because it was food but also a sex object which usually gets let in . In the end, he he said no because I was wearing flip flops which is against the dress code".

After use, the beef could be sliced thinly and sold to post chop ladyboys as beef curtains.

I'd suggest handing it to your misses and simply waiting 24 hours
