Banana Bread

Inspired by Necron's sourdough bread thread, I decided it was time to give banana bread a shot. We have a surplus of banana on the digs at the moment and this turned out great. Pretty easy to do, and you don't have to worry about yeast and the rising process. Just mix it all up and cook it. Felt a lot like making up a concrete batch. Recipe at:

Banana Bread might be one of a few of my favourite Farang foods.

Done right - it's heavenly.
Add a sweetened butter cream to accompany each slice.

Yummy banana bread, toasted with butter.

Toasted or microwaved with butter on top.....always good! Nice thing about banana bread is that you can make several loaves, wrap them in plastic, and freeze them. Thawed out and then warmed up, I can hardly tell they were stored. The better half was pretty surprised I was able to create something edible in the kitchen so I have to teach her the ropes tomorrow.
