The Mc99's food science laboratory guys reckon their on a sure fire winner here, Chilli, a Pie, what's not to like about it?
What you will need....
Pastry
600 grams flour
150 grams butter
150 grams shredded tasty cheese.
Filling
Some frozen chilli I cooked last month.
Extras
A screwdriver.
An empty Chang bottle.
Rub the flour, cubed butter, cheese and a dash of salt in your fingertips until combined, it should look like a bowl of breadcrumbs. Add ice cold water and mix until you have a pliable dough, like warm playdough, not sticky. Stick it in the fridge for a while. Pastry needs to be worked cold.
Use an empty Chang bottle to roll out your pastry.
Use the screwdriver to take the handle off a small fryingpan.

Pick up your rolled pastry by rolling it around the Chang bottle.
Gently lay it over your frying pan and form the edges.
Add your fillings....

Paint the top o the pastry with egg, add the top and crimp the edges with a fork.
Add some more egg and some pepper.

In the over at 190c for 30 min or so.
