Kurgens spicey tomato n basil super soup.

This is my first attempt at a multi pic thread so please don't moan if it goes as wonky as sometimeslapper on the turps.

First of all, here's the ingredients and my hot n cold blender

Note the big red tomatoes Slapper!
    [IMG]http://teakdoor.com/data:image/jpeg;base64,
OK, sling it all in the blender with 5ooml of chicken stock, some salt and 2 hoofing great spoons of tomato paste,

25 Min's of cooking (with the lid on) and 2 minutes blending and here's the finished result,

and here it is with some nice bread ripped up and thrown in,

I ended up with 2 liters of soup which tastes the absolute bollox.

    Sometimeslapper, pass me my crown!
I would post pictures but life's too short.

Sorry, use of advanced technological wizardry was expressly prohibited in teh competition rules.
I thought we were all clear on that?

    The blender saved the day.

    Good effort.

Watch this space for some serious bisque action.

^^ They have a hotplate in the base. You can brown garlic and onions an shit, it can stir as well as blend.
Totally cheating.........................unless he wants to buy us all one.
just google hot and cold blender...
That one is about 220 bucks.

You deserve this, still playing in the game but warned against high tech instruments that most of us dont have. Its not a level playing field.

I've never seen one before which surprised me as I spent almost an entire evening last month choosing a new blender.

And now I'm pissed off with my choice!

Soup looks fantastic, will definitely give this a try... albeit with my technologically inferior blender.

Even if i hadn't read the thread and saw what ingredients he used, i would probably have guessed for myself that there's no meat in his basil and tomato soup.

But thats ok, i have nothing against vegetarians or meat free soup.

Not sure why you felt the need to point it out though.
