    A Party In Thailand

Last night I went to a small party for an old English guys birthday, I still find it strange that all the Thai wives all sit together and all the farangs sit together with hardly any interaction, here is a picture of the wives section of the party.

Although looking back at how the Dutch guy sitting next to me stuck his hand up his wifes skirt every time she came over I can see why segregation maybe a good idea, of course we all laughed when they simulated having sex, real class act, just the thing that is needed to liven up a soi party.

Onto the birthday cake, I think each candle signifies 10 years, yep he's getting on a bit

Of course as with any good party there was way too much wasted food, I have to admit all I ate was a bbqued pork chop as I had eaten just before I got there, Pretty damn good aswell it was, but as time dragged on the beers were running out at a rapid pace, of course the hienies were the first to run out so I had to resort to drinking the old singha looney juice, damn that's awful stuff.

Anyway I found that my newfound Dutch friend is an ex lawyer who has lived here for the last 3 years and spends 200baht perday, great life some people lead

AO what is your budget per day or month - if you don't mind me asking,

I don't budget for spending but I only spend about 100 a day plus rent and lekky at the end of the month

    Me no

    Just at weekends.

I suppose I didn't count my binge on a friday night.

But if I don't go out at the weekend which then it is still 100 a day.

Fucked up I know last month I only spent 15k in total for the whole month. including rent bills gas and a week on the beer.

how can you live on a hundred baht perday?
my monthly trip to lotus is 3,000baht a time and that is not for food as the food is crap there, this is mainly stuff like washing machine powder and normal household stuff, although looking at how foking dirty my place is I think my galfriend maybe selling the stuff on...

also what about food? dont you eat any farang food?

HOnestly dog I the only foreign food I eat is Mueslie and sometimes youghurt.

I have been thinking about this a lot last night.

    30baht approx mueslie and milk
    20 baht school food
    25b food at night time
15b gas to school and back

Thats it. I don't snack I don't eat any western food. I live a really meagre exitance however I must admit I do like it.

When I buy mueslie it I buy it in ten kilo loads from Tesco so I don't have to go back for as long as possible. I got to Carre four for one of those big milk cartons which lasts all week.

Weekends I spend more just getting pissed and then feeling sick however since I have stopped that now we will have to see what happens.

Bill wise - my house is 4500 bills are just under 500 plus cable at 350 and washing 450 (evrything bed sheets socks undies)

So total on that a month is 6000baht -

I live like fucking scum I do.
