    Marmite's Mini Pizza

It was decreed that today is pizza day, so I duly oblidged.

First, I took a kilo of tomatoes and de-seeded them before putting them in a pan with a couple of green chillis and some garlic to stew.

While I was doing that, the Midget knocked up some pizza dough and let it rest on top of the warming oven.

She only made enough for one pizza.

I began to get the other ingredients together. Mozzarella being quite important. Luckily, I had a little left (300 to 400grams), so just enough to cover the base.

It was a bit old, but good enough for pizza.

Then I thought to sweat some onions with a bit more green chilli. I would bung this on top of the tomato base.

Also found in the fridge was some ham and Cumberland sausages, so that went on as well.

After that, a layer of different cheese is needed. I had a 250gram pack of Jalapeņo Jack knocking around, so that was poifect, especially when topped with some imported salami.

The oven was now a very nice 250DegC, so I let the Midget do the honours. You get a good idea, just how small the pizza is from this photo, as it was a bit lost in the oven.

Perfect toppings, perfect crust, perfect base. Not enough to sate everyone's appetite, but fucking aroi.

I had two mouthfuls like this, the Midget and Little Monkey one each and Big Monkey had two. This leaves another eight meagre servings for tomorrow. Got to watch the pennies in these troubled times.

    *burp!*

I don't have a couple of round pizza dishes and all the stuff slides off unless you make one of those gay thin & frisky pizzas, which I can't bring myself to do.

I really like the thin base pizza and can't be doing with all the bread on the normal ones.

All of my Italian relatives, especially in my grandparents' generation, always made square / rectangle pizzas in the exact same pan. They always used scissors to cut it.
