| The Dog | Taco Ring Recipe How to make Taco Ring Sue Mallick with Food City presents a wonderful recipe for a taco ring at Food City's Cooking School. This episode accents a free program featured every Monday night at The Crown Point Shopping Center location on North Eastman Road in Kingsport, TN. See foodcity.com for complete recipe details. Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef; 1 pkg taco seasoning; 1/4 cup water; 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese; 2 cans crescent rolls; shredded lettuce; 1 tomato, chopped Directions: Brown ground beef, add taco seasoning and water, heat to boiling and remove from heat. Stir in cheddar cheese. Meanwhile, open cans of crescent rolls and lay on cookie sheet in a sun pattern, points of rolls facing outward, overlapping, but leaving a space in the center. Press together overlapped rolls to form a place for the meat mixture. Place meat mixture in flattened part of crescent rolls. Fold points of rolls over meat mix and tuck into the center. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve on large platter and place lettuce and chopped tomato in center of taco ring. Add a side of salsa. |
