    I've bought Mikels Restaurant

In past threads I have talked about opening a cafe, burger joint,or something like that.My wife and I were about ready to open a store-cafe not far from Rayong beach when some very good friends suggested that we go to Mikels restaurant, because he was ready to sell it and move to his rubber tree farm.So we said, okay lets go.It' at Hat Mae Rumphueng beach. After meeting with Mikel, and taking a look at his operation,we decided to buy it.This was 2 months ago.It was agreed that my wife and her sister would train with Mikel for 7 weeks to learn how to cook his food(German)and to become totally familiar with the business all around. There are a lot of regular customers that live in the area and this would give Mikel time to make his plans known, and introduce them to my wife. All has gone very well.Mikel has moved to his rubber tree farm and we are now the official owners. We are not going to change a thing.Keeping the same menu(German and Thai)and keeping the name too.I might add a couple of things to the menu later.Maybe some Italian.I'm planning on being back first week of April. If any of you are in the neighborhood, and you have the time, please come by and check it out. It's not anything fancy, just a nice place to get a bite to eat, have a cold beer, and relax. If I'm there, introduce yourself, the beer will be on me.For those that don't know where this is,it's between Rayong beach and Ban Phe on Hat Mae Rumphueng beach road.If I can figure out how to put some pics on this thing I will.

that image file is still on your computer ,

first you need to upload the file to the TD galley and then link from the TD galley to your post .

    follow DD's link above

ScrapMetal, get working on this url and add some reviews
Overview of a place to visit: Mikel's German Restaurant in Pattaya - Rayong

Also some websites are saying that you have rooms to rent.
    Is that still the case?

Hey guys Yes,everything is going to stay the same.My wife picked up on cooking Mikels stuff real quick. He said she was doing great right off.She also understands how important good customer service is.Later, when I'm there all the time,I might add a few things to the menu. For now though,we just wanted to make sure to keep everything the same.If it's not broke, don't try to fix it,right?Anyway,I am trying to resize the pics so I can upload them in the gallery. Then try to get on the thread. As far as GPS #'s go I can get them. When I do I'll post em.Need to try and get a few hours sleep now though. Thanks for the plug Sabang.I mean it about the beer.

With Sabang's PM with specific directions, we may take a run down that way today from our Ban Chang residence. If we do, I'll be able to post the precise GPS coordinates. Got that LT.....? GPS Coordinates...

Looking at Google Earth, there was a listing for Mikel’s at
    12°37’21.44N / 101°21’43.75E.
This seems to be accurate and is in very near proximity to in the clear directions provided by Sabang in his PM to me earlier today.
