I don't know what experience you have with these dogs, but I would advise caution. They are fiercely protective of the flock and can be hard to control. There are some real horror stories about them attacking people.
They may not be the best choice in areas where you have large populations.
why would anyone want one here? way too hot for them
You can try contacting the Kennel Club of Thailand:

Some breeds, though (even ones that are fairly common in Western countries) are difficult- if not impossible- to find in this part of the world.
mate when i lived on my farm in chaiyaphum i had a rottweiler with the most beautifully nature but no mater how hard i tried i could not stop him from chasing and killing the farm chickens, dino died last year.so this time i am looking for a livestock guardian dog like a maremma etc.so please next time know the facts before you have a shoot about designer dogs etc.
^ Fine. I'll withdraw my comments & apologise if you can explain why you are so keen on this particular breed, which according to others, is possibly wholly unsuited to the climate & the physical environment (and probably not even available in Thailand). Why have you not researched Thai breeds with similar characteristics? Or been to your local rescue shelter & asked if they have a dog with a suitable character?
what i am looking for is a livestock guard dog.it could be a maremma,Pyrenees,or one of the Turkish breeds.yes you are correct a maremma may not be the correct type for the Thai climate but they are used in north Queensland and west aust
the Thai breeds ridge back and bangkaew have strong hunting prey instinct.
if i put one of these dogs in with the ducks chickens to bond together it would be a blood bath.the Thai breeds are good watch dogs but this is not the job for them.
going to the local shelter is no good as the pup from about 7 weeks lives and bonds with whatever it has to protect.
all i am looking for is the type of dog that will do this job a task livestock breeds have been doing for a 1000 years. hope this helps you understand why i want a maremma or smiler type.
and please if you know of a breed that you can get in Thai that will do this let me know.
