Exactly one minute as well, hehe.

Low season is definitely a cheaper time to come to Koh Chang. Since you have kids I would recommend White Sand Beach or Kae Bae Beach. I've heard good things about Seaview resort in Kae Bae.

Cookies is hardly cheap, nor basic compared to the majority of accommodation on Koh Chang.

Kacha Resort. Nice pool for the kids. Right on the beach, which is good for keeping an eye on the kids. The Beachside villa is also fun for the kids.

I stayed at Kacha the first time I went. Great rooms and great service. It was completely ruined though by all the European tourists who complained and moaned about everything.
