Bit O Rain in Laem Chabang overnight

Couldnt believe my eyes this morning coming to work, the Epxort processing zone (EPZ) here in Laem Chabang is under 3 foot of water, the ports will grind to a halt today i guess as anyone without a car/pickup will not be getting into work, even those with cars should not come in, i did in my Honda city, water was well over my bonnet, something i will never repeat.

    Really?

I'm due at LCB tomorrow morning for meetings....

Lets hope they are cancelled, but I suspect it's a different part of the port.....

Hang on.....you didn't drive off a thing called a jetty did you?

I remember going in to the Esso Refinery plant there a few years ago during an amazing downpour, and subsequent flash flood that tripped the whole refinery out. They subsequently had to improve their drainage systems and stock up on a heckuva lot of sandbags.
I had to try and park my car on some higher ground and wait quite a while until I could drive out again.
Thanks for those pics. They reminded me of the story.
