Yes, the Navy has a sea turtle farm that's quite interesting. They breed them and treat sick turtles there, then release them in mass at the appropriate season. It's a popular tour for Thai school children who are allowed on the base to visit. I was able to see it with a friend, and it's worth visiting. I'm not sure what the procedure for gaining access to the Navy base is, but it can be done through the right channels.

The Navy also has a very cheap and very difficult golf course on the Sukhumvit Road in Bang Saria. Caddy 59 is my favorite hole there.

^^Half the time they won't let farangs onto the navy bases in Sattahip.

^Not sure if caddy number 59 should be included really.

Golf course is public. Loads of falang there. Caddy 46 is ok too, half chinese, the bottom half I think.
