Most Travel Agents have a taxi service. A lot of the Bar Owners know of a "favourite driver" TP

Yeh, definitely a mini bus or car. It's dirt cheap to get a song thaew down Suk, but you're still faced with a long walk from Sukhumvit Rd unless you bribe the driver to divert, and there goes your cost saving.

Don't know any bar owners and I doubt I will frequent any "bar beer". I guess any travel agent will be able to provide such a service?

See the helicopter thread. Also, Russia is taking space tourists, perhaps you can arrange a splashdown just offshore the runway. Tunnelling takes forever.
