Sattahip Kilo Sip - insects and stuff

Kilo Sip is suprisingly 10 kilometers from Sattahip and on the way to Ban Chang, anyway to save you the bother of going down there to see how boring it is I took the photos, trouble is what I didn't realise was that the nightlife which consisted mainly of a market would start closing down at 8.30pm so I missed most of that due to wasting my time drinking beer.

First up we have the barbeque man, those sausages at the back look just like English ones, but I really doubt that they tasted like English ones.

The coffee stall, I really have no idea what the colorful stuff is though.

Lovely selection of delicious chicken feet for sale.

Can you guess what this stall is selling?

Yep fried dead insects, quite unusual as they don't have many Issan people there, although I did mess the best picture oppurtunity that would have been better suited for the Thai Girls Knickers thread, a nice young lady with shorts on that were much to short, both at the top and bottom, could quite clearly see a great deal of her bum cleavage but no knickers, maybe a new trend to hit Thailand? We can only hope so

And of course the fermented meat and squid stall.

    DD,
I do have to thank you for posting those lovely pics of the local food outlets around Sattahip.
The (Thai) wife and I have a house 5 mins north of Sattahip township and hope to be retiring there in a couple of years. Although things may well be changed a little by the time I finally settle there, your posts, and especially the photos, are most informative. Please keep them coming
    Thanks for the effort.

    wow

Great place for my first post. Back in 1971 Kilosip was had its excitement- will never forget the Dew Drop Inn. I doubt that there is even a remnant of what it use to be

Got to admit I haven't seen or heard of the Dew Point place, sometimes I go for 6 months without going there, then suddenly I am there every week, wont be there this week though
