A holiday with NO RUSSIANS !

I just took the family and my parents to a great resort on Koh Samet with its own private beach. No traffic, no dogs and best of all no Ruskies!

PARADEE RESORT KOH SAMET - Book Paradee Resort Koh Samet

Not the cheapest place but well worth the money. I'll probably have a weekend there next month but dump the sprogs at the MIL's.
I would post pictures but life's too short.

Well I suppose you could swim around to it but certainly not walk along from another beach.

Whenever I need to get away from it all and recharge the batteries I head over to Koh Chang. Not the big one up near Pattaya but the tiny one where you get the ferry from Ranong. No roads, no pier, they just get you as near to the beach near the resort you are staying at and then you have to wade in the rest of the way. Only about 6-7 resorts that have 6-10 bungalows nestling in the cashew nut trees just off the beach. Heaven.
Treat everyone as a complete and utter idiot and you can only ever be pleasantly surprised !

How do you know no Russians? The expensive places in Pattaya are half full of them.

Kurgen, you are very lucky you found an expensive place with no Russians, on the another hand to find a cheap place with no English is rather more difficult if not impossible.

Sato have a look here. Payam is the bigger island and may be the better one for the parents I stayed at the Bamboo bungalows. A nice part of the island. But if you and the Missus need to get away for a few days I would reccomend Koh Chang. I stayed at the Horn bill resort.
    Enjoy.

Beacause talking and listening to the other guests, which I guess numbered less than 40. There were Scandies, a few japs, some Brits and quite a few well to do Thais.

I dare say they did as my Thai wife tried getting discount through a booking agency and then by booking direct but had little luck with either.
What I'll do next time I'm there is to ask some of the Thai couples how much they paid and how they, as mere Thai's, could afford it just for you.

So you think that all Thai's will only rent a shack between 12 of them as long as it's under 120 baht?

Wake up dick head, there are plenty of well off Thai's based in this country.
