I am not offended. Aside from the monarchy, Thai people will make jokes about anything. They are not very PC here. If you take yourself too seriously, you'd probably be better off in Korea.

Now after this incident my wife thinks it's not such a good idea to meet people you only know from internet. Thinking of it, maybe the teakdoor meeting last october had something to do with this opinion as well.
