| The Dog | Saithip Butterfly farm near Sri Racha Well me galfriend has been going on about this place for a few weeks so I took the family there today, it's in all the Thai magazines and the gardens look real good, now I don't want to put a damperner on this place before I have even told you lot about it, but my galfriend when was leaving wanted to ask them where the pics came from cos it obviously werent from there crappy old gardens. so the first thing I hear you ask is do they charge more for whiteys and blackies? yes they foking do the cnuts, heres the proof, they don't even try to do it sneakily....... ![]() yep a nice sign as you pay that you are going to be foking stiffed cos your the wrong color, i mean it wouldn't be so bad if this place had something to offer, but it really hasn't believe me, they have car parking for several hundred cars and buses, there was 5 cars parked there so obviously even the Thais think its a foking waste of time. This is where you enter, it's quite tastefully done in concrete and gold paint, a little bit subtle i hear you say, well Epcot has a golf ball as its main feature so it means anything goes. ![]() So now as you walk thru you go thru several large shops selling dead insects and then sevaral large restaurants and then following the signs you actually exit the farm, hmmmmm, aint seen a foking live butterfly yet. So off we go back to the main entrance and start again, this time we ignore the signs and get into the butterfly enclosure, the first enclosure I saw a butterfly but it was about 30 foot away, yes they had all the nice cheap orchids in there which caterpillars don't actually eat but hell that looked ok, only one butterfly anyway. Then we hit the main enclosure, ok this must have had several hundred butterflys, but there was only like 5 differant sorts, i mean it's ok if you consider it as english money, quid 30p for a non thai, but it was basically just dissappointing and a waste of time..... ![]() i mean the next pic is typical of the place, yes they got signs up for each tree saying wot they are and that, but fok me they should have been replaced years ago. ![]() another butterfly. ![]()
