    Bugs Life

    Bugs Life

Would be interested if I could see your pictures of bugs you've had around your house.

This one stings like crazy because of the hairs on it.A painful burning experience for about twenty mins.
It was about the size of a fag packet.

This guy flew up next tom me while I was working at my desk a couple years back. I posted a pic of him then. The screens were all closed, I wonder how he got in the apartment.

Same Time frame, same apartment. This guy just came in under the door tootled around and exited (after some direction from the ol lady) I dig these guys always have they're just cool.

Since moving into this house we rarely get cool, big bugs. The odd Scorpion, and the lightning bugs flying around in the house at night are pretty cool though.

Cool. FF, the first one is some kind of beetle. The green baby is a praying mantis. I rather love this bug coz when the male jumps on a female's back to, you know, make babies, she lets him finish his work and then swivels around and bites his head off.

Praying Mantis are the only insects that can swivel their heads (irrelevent factoid).

Only the third spider I have ever had in the house. Before I moved here I kind of thought the country would be crawling with them.

Will this one jump on my face and kill me in my bed?

I had one of them in my old house in Ayutthaya. Jet tells me that it is something known as a 'spider'.

Snapped this whilst out this time

At first I thought this was a weird spider as I could only see the 4 legs. However in the next photo it had moved slightly and could then see the other legs. Probably a span of about 4 to 5 inches, maybe less. Have no idea as to what type of spider this is.
