| LD, Nothing on their webpage mentions what they actually do to alleviate the problems. Do they spay & neuter the animals in their care? What vaccines are given? Do they do any care in the community (ie vaccinate & spay/neuter in temples etc)? If they don't do these things, they are not alleviating the problems at all - and could be making them worse. Sheltering is not the solution for animals in Thailand - I should know, I've been there (am still there) & still am trying desperately to get funds & get dogs adopted. But we (& most other orgs) make a big thing of what we do to try & solve problems, both with our own animals & in the community as a whole. And neutering is a number one priority for all shelters/community projects. If Tony does do these things, I'd recommend he make a big deal of them on his webpage. It might lead to more help coming in. BTW, have you ever visited the shelter? I've heard mixed reports & would be interested to hear your impressions if you have.
